How It Started: A Repeat Order with a Twist

When William came to us with another order, we were thrilled to receive his continued trust and support.

This shipment included AC240V B22 Festoon bulbs in two configurations:

Option 1

Option 2

A key feature of this product is its flat cable design, which sets it apart from the standard round cables commonly found on the market. For a closer look, please refer to the attached images.

The Challenge: A Specific Brand, A Small Quantity

William's requirement was specific: he needed a particular brand of Festoon cable.

But there was a problem. The order quantity was too small for the manufacturer to justify a production run. Many factories would simply say no — minimum order quantities exist for a reason, and small orders can disrupt production schedules.

For William, this was a real obstacle. He needed the cable. The factory wouldn't produce it. And without a solution, the project would stall.

Our Role: Bridging the Gap Between Factory and Client

This is where we added value. Our job wasn't just to place an order — it was to solve a problem for both sides.

What We Did

Action

Why It Mattered

Communicated with the factory

Explained the client's specific requirement and the long-term potential of the relationship

Advocated for the client

Pushed for a solution that would work for both parties

Found a middle ground

Negotiated a production arrangement that made the small order feasible

Kept the client informed

Provided updates throughout the process

We didn't just pass the problem back to William. We took ownership of the challenge and worked to resolve it.

The Outcome: Order Completed Successfully

Through effective communication and persistence, we were able to bridge the gap between the factory and the client. The order was completed successfully, and William received exactly what he needed.

Proactive Quality Assurance: The Broken Bulb Story

Since Festoon bulbs are made of fragile glass, we included 5 free spare units as a precaution.

Upon inspection, we found that one bulb had broken during transit — a common issue with delicate items.

While many suppliers avoid taking responsibility for shipping damage, we believe in preventive measures:

Our Approach

Why It Matters

Extra spares included

Ensures customers aren't left short

Proactive problem-solving

Minimizes disruptions to the client's project

Taking responsibility

We don't leave clients to deal with issues alone

We appreciate William's understanding and are committed to delivering reliable solutions — not just products.
