LED channel letters are a cornerstone of modern signage, combining metal fabrication with LED technology to create illuminated brand identities. The key to a successful project lies in three phases: proper design with hole layout planning, precision manufacturing using galvanized sheet or stainless steel, and correct LED installation with appropriate spacing (typically 10–30mm between LEDs). The most common mistake? Underestimating power supply requirements and voltage drop, which should be kept under 5% to ensure uniform brightness.


Part 1: Pre‑Design Phase

1.1 Font Design and Layout

The foundation of any LED sign project is the font design. This is typically done using vector graphic software:
